Reagan Sydes specializes in trauma-informed, identity-affirming care for youth, adults, couples, and families.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Carolina University and her Master of Social Work from Appalachian State University, and she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) in North Carolina.

Throughout her clinical training, Reagan completed internships at a children's advocacy center,  domestic violence non-profit agency, and university counseling center.  These experiences helped shape her therapeutic lens by strengthening her skills in trauma assessment, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and systems-based advocacy.  She worked closely with survivors of abuse, facilitated safety planning, and supported clients through identity exploration, anxiety, depression, and relational concerns.  Each setting deepened her capacity to hold space for complex emotional needs, with an emphasis on cultural humility, empathy, and client empowerment.

As an Intensive In-Home Team Lead, Reagan provides individualized and family-focused care to clients facing behavioral, emotional, and systemic challenges.  She is especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, trauma survivors, and families navigating difficult transitions.  Currently, she is pursuing specialized training in Integrative Sex Therapy and Couples work to support clients in enhancing intimacy, emotional connection, and sexual wellness.

Reagan integrates mindfulness, psychoeducation, and a strengths-based approach into her practice.  She is committed to creating a nonjudgmental, collaborative space where clients feel supported, understood, and capable of meaningful change.
